Mr. Chen mainly focuses on the field of intellectual property. He assists his client properly use every kind of intellectual property such as patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret to protect their research outcome, business benefit, and legal right.

He serves/served clients including precision machinery industry, machine tool industry, bicycle accessory industry, hand tool industry, fitness equipment industry, printing industry, tourism industry, medical device industry, biotechnology industry, R&D hospital, and universities.

He planted and executed a patent search and analysis project of biological diagnosis reagent to be an important reference for a biotechnology company during their product development. He was entrusted by a medical device company to file patents for over 17 countries. And he also handled a quick detection reagent patent which was granted a gold award of international invention exhibition and a national invention award.

He participated in negotiation and contract drafting of a four-party patent license project between the Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Nugentek LifeScience, National Yang-Ming University, and Development Center of Biotechnology. He also assisted a TSEC-listed company to implement Taiwan Intellectual Property Management System (TIPS) and participate in two TIPS compliant evaluation projects of an OTC-Listed Company and a fitness equipment company. He ever helped a printing company to execute patent due-diligence investigation before acquiring a company.

He teaches intellectual property law at the Institute of Information Industry and Providence University since 2014. He dedicates to combine academic theory and practice to explain the basic concept of intellectual property right in an easy way.
